Vitamin B is that essential vitamin that is needed for energy production from the food we eat. Though people are aware of what one should or should not eat with respect to proteins, carbs, and fats, the need of the body’s vitamins and minerals are rarely fulfilled. The lack of Vitamin B12 especially can send your health spiraling downward. In fact, not enough vitamin B can cause fatigue, body pain, depression, and even a nervous breakdown. This is especially amongst vegans as plant-based diets generally do not have much of Vitamin B. ⁠
Meat has adequate quantities of vitamin B, and it's there in very small quantities in milk and milk products such as cheese and yogurt. But for those who do not even consume milk, supplements of Vitamin B 12 are much required.⁠

Een makkelijke en gezonde manier om in één keer meer dan 25 gram eiwitten binnen te krijgen, zijn eiwitshakes. Hierbij daarom het geheime recept van onze enige echte shakie:⁠
1 scoop vanille ekopura⁠ (per zak verkrijgbaar bij ons aan de bar!)⁠
1 halve bevroren banaan⁠
250 ml alpro kokosmelk⁠
1 snuf kaneel⁠
Blend it, pour it & enjoy! 🥛⁠
The ideal snack or breakfast! 😋

A delicious recipe for healthy oatmeal and protein banana pancakes. The perfect snack or breakfast that is packed with good ingredients.

2 Ripe bananas
1 Spoon ultra fine oats (or regular oatmeal) ⁠
1 Scoop Ekopura protein (vegan or whey)
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt⁠
1/4 cup sliced walnuts⁠
1 tablespoon of coconut oil⁠
Place the banana, oatmeal, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a blender and blend into a thick batter. If your batter is still very thin, you can add more oatmeal until the batter is nice and thick.
Add the walnuts and other additives if you wish. Blueberries, pecans and chocolate chips are our favorites.
Heat a medium pan over medium heat and add some coconut oil to grease the pan. ⁠
Pour some batter into the pan to make small to medium sized pancakes. Cook for about two minutes or until small bubbles start to form and cook for two minutes (or until nicely golden brown) on the other side. The height of the fire is very important. If you have the heat too high, your pancakes will burn, if you have the heat too low you will not get them beautifully golden brown.
Repeat the above with the rest of the batter. You should be able to make 9 pancakes with this recipe. Add the topping you like and enjoy!
