Never miss a morning workout again. Ok, it's a little earlier than you're used to, but the feeling after a morning workout makes up for everything. Research shows that exercising in the morning is good for you. Follow these five tips and you'll never miss a morning workout again. So get up and go,go,go!

Get your gym bag ready

Get your gym bag ready the night before. Because when you still have to go looking for your gym gear at six in the morning, this can be enough of a reason to stay put.

Eat something small

You can't exercise on an empty stomach. When you work out, it is important that you provide your body with the right kind and amount of fuel. Eating the right foods will help you get the most out of your workout. For example, eat a boiled egg, bowl of yogurt or a banana. Or opt for a protein shake.

Find a sports buddy!

It's tempting when you've been working out fanatically a few mornings a week for a while to skip a morning anyway. But when you know your fitness buddy will soon be at the gym by himself, you'll think twice before ignoring the alarm. So team up!

Think about what missing a workout feels like

Have you ever regretted missing a workout? Probably the answer is "no. But when you missed a workout, you probably did regret it. Recapture that feeling when in doubt about whether or not to go. That will give you the final push to go anyway.

Establish a regular sleep rhythm

Once you get used to getting up early, you will naturally go to bed earlier. It is important to relax before you go to sleep. Set an alarm that goes off 60 minutes before you go to bed. Use these 60 minutes to relax. Turn off the TV, put your phone away and relax. The goal: get your body ready for a good night's sleep.
