Cactus fig is a fruit from a cactus plant. Because of its sharp shell it’s also called ‘Prickly Pear’. You can find them in the colors green, yellow, orange and red/brown. It’s possible to eat it by itself or in a jam or smoothie. They are extremely healthy and rich in vitamin C, vitamine B, potassium and calcium. Additionally the cactus fig contains b-carotene which is used by the body to create vitamin A and which will give you an additional health boost.

Cut the cactus fig in half and spoon it out. Put the fruit in a blender together with a pealed banana, add the yoghurt and granola and add 1 scoop of Ekopura Organic Vegan Protein. Blend it until you have a nice and smooth substance.
